Date Night at Walmart - Associated Content from Yahoo!
I say we revive "Date night at WalMart" with or without the corporate nod! And I don't mean just for singles either! I'm talking about us couples as well. And I don't mean just takin' Mami to the WalMart for some shampoo and shaving cream. I'm talkin' about a real date; complete with dinner and a movie!

The Sexual Heeling!
If you’re a red-blooded man like me, you have a certain appreciation for women in heels. They seem to change everything about the way a woman looks; her posture, her stride, and most of all, her derriere. And if you’ve been paying any attention at all, you’ll notice that Latina’s stand head and shoulders above the rest when it comes to wearing them.
As a Caucasian man married to a Latina, I also happen to know that it’s part of their culture. Of course this might be over generalizing, but I notice that Latina’s tend to dress more in a very feminine, sexualized way than other women. Have you ever watched Univision or any of the other Hispanic channels? Flowing hair, makeup and cleavage!
I also feel that white women tend to be more casual in how they dress and black women a little more flamboyant, but I’ll save that one for another time! Latina’s will get all dolled up to go to Walmart, and that's OK!

She Call's me Papi; The Beginning.
It all started some three years ago when my then soon to become wife and I were on a shopping date at Walmart!
I know, a shopping date at Walmart, pretty damn romantic right? Well, she was in need of some toilet paper, and we were still breaking me in to her young teenage daughter.
We were a new couple, and Walmart date night ranked right up ther with Home Depot and Saturday morning garage sales…, which we still do by the way.
She was, and still is a pretty bossy Hispanic woman. I don’t mean a Hispanic-American born in New York or Texas or Southern California, to a Bi-racial, multi-ethnic family either. And no she didn’t use a coyote to get here either. She was born to Hispanic parents in Costa Rica, moved to Panama after her mother’s tragic death when she was a teenager, and later came to the States and became a citizen the old-fashioned way… she studied hard and passed the exam!

I Know What Love Is!
“I don't pretend to know what love is for everyone, but I can tell you what it is for me; love is knowing all about someone, and still wanting to be with them more than any other person, love is trusting them enough to tell them everything about yourself, including the things you might be ashamed of, love is feeling comfortable and safe with someone, but still getting weak knees when they walk into a room and smile at you.”
I love you Alex, with all of my heart. Always be you, even when I'm always being me!

Sunrise and New Beginnings!
Sunrise on this new day, in this New Year, brings new beams of light through the fog of yesterday and sheds the new light of promise and hope. The promise of true love, and the hope that the remainder of my days will shine as bright as today. The fog of yesterday is gone forever, and the new light of hope will forever take its place in my heart. I have seized the warmth and beauty of the day in your loving arms, my dearest Alejandrina.
I love you Alex, with all of my heart. That's all I have for today, and that is certainly all that I need.

My Happiness Flows!
The happiness that flows from my heart cannot be measured. The fact that the God of my understanding saw fit to bestow upon me so many blessings makes me a humble and grateful man. My greatest blessing here on earth, other than that of knowing my place in this world, is the love and joy I get from my beloved Alex. She is the woman I prayed so hard for all my life.
Today, I will say many prayers of gratitude.

Dock of the Bay!
Often I wonder what my life would be like without Alex. She makes me feel like there was no life before she appeared. She inspires me to be a better, more grounded man. She literally saved me from a life of aimlessly wandering, sitting ever so lonely on the dock of the bay.
I honestly don't know where I'd be today if I hadn't found her warm and tender heart... still sitting, staring, waiting, wandering.
Bless you Alex, and your great big Hispanic, loving heart!
