If you’re a red-blooded man like me, you have a certain appreciation for women in heels. They seem to change everything about the way a woman looks; her posture, her stride, and most of all, her derriere. And if you’ve been paying any attention at all, you’ll notice that Latina’s stand head and shoulders above the rest when it comes to wearing them.
As a Caucasian man married to a Latina, I also happen to know that it’s part of their culture. Of course this might be over generalizing, but I notice that Latina’s tend to dress more in a very feminine, sexualized way than other women. Have you ever watched Univision or any of the other Hispanic channels? Flowing hair, makeup and cleavage!
I also feel that white women tend to be more casual in how they dress and black women a little more flamboyant, but I’ll save that one for another time! Latina’s will get all dolled up to go to Walmart, and that's OK!
When I think about what attracted me to the woman I call Mami, my wife, I think about the way she carried herself, her confidence, her gorgeous smile, her laughter, and her heels. She always wore heels, and her dress and makeup was always impeccable! These are things which are often difficult to find in non-Latinas.
I know that it is part of their culture's fashion, because she has made it very clear to me on more than one occasion. Beauty is sometimes painful, time consuming and costly! Also, they say that ladies feel that high heels put you 4 inches closer to Heaven. In Jersey it’s the teased hair!
I suppose a nice pair of heels can also do wonders for an ugly pair of feet, just as a push up bra can do wonders for a non-existent cleavage. Although my beautiful bride doesn’t have to worry about either of those things; she has naturally pretty feet and ‘double-d’ ta tas!
Mami loves to get dressed up, put on her makeup and wear her heels. It makes her feel pretty, sexy, and more desirable. It’s something she calls "My Sexual Heeling".
Although I have always looked far beyond all that stuff and seen the truly beautiful Hispanic woman that she is, it makes her happy. And when Mami’s happy, everybody’s happy!
